Could not put it down. Clean no obscene language. At times I actually caught myself praying for Jonah. .lol. keep writing. Now to the next good read.

Absolutely a great read! I could hardly put this book down once I started reading it, anticipating what will happen next. The messages in the story are incredible. From showing vulnerability and forgiveness to knowing we all need a spiritual redeemer is all captured in this novel. This book blessed me so much and I know it will bless others. I can't wait for the other books to be released in this series.
Absolutely spellbounding. No longer captive takes you to a familiar place in your life where very few people know. We have all wrestled with inner demons listening to what sounds good rather doing what is right in eyes of our Father Jesus Christ our Lord. We have all received powerful prayers from someone who knows the true power of God. No Longer Captive is a feel good story of several souls in need of Christ. This is a very powerful read. Author Rai finds and hits the mark to what I believe to be a best seller.
I really enjoyed this book, I like most of all when you surrender all to Jesus, He will make you free. This is very touching and very well written. I truly enjoy this author's heart that you can feel from her books. I will start on No longer broken hearted. Book 2. Blessings to you!
No Longer Captive (Freedom Series Book 1) by Rai Lindsay-Wallace is a wonderful read that I enjoyed well. Although Jonah has had a bitter past his days behind the bars has made him a a good and a religious man. All he wants to do on the day of his release is to start a new life. He waits for Joel-his twin brother to pick him up but it becomes a no show so he thinks of catching up a vehicle. After the death of his loving aunt-his only contact Alice aunt Mae has kept contact with him. As he visits aunt's Mae place he meets Kayla and she informs him that she passed away four days before. Jonah gets attracted to Kayla from the first moment he sees her. Their story runs with unexpected twists and turns and Joel's surgery affects their lives. The characters are well developed and the minor characters play an important role for the main plot as well. The link with the religion is emphasized and always Jonah seeks the advice of the Lord- Almighty God. I am looking forward to read the coming volumes of this series as well. I highly enjoyed this tale. Highly Recommended.
