Clones are being used as suicide bombers in an occupied Tehran, a boy suspects that his loving parents intend to kill him on his thirteenth birthday, and a house is just, like, ridiculously haunted. This collection of fourteen short stories might make you laugh if you share the author’s sense of humour, might make you cry if you cry easily, and will probably keep you entertained for a couple of hours. There’s science fiction, fantasy, horror, comedy and miscellaneous. The only thing the stories of Little Lost Things have in common is that they don’t have much in common at all. But that counts for something, right?
Little Lost Things eBook Mark Hill
An excellent collection of short stories spanning any number of genres from fairy tales to science fiction to post-apocalyptic. Some are funny, some are creepy, but I enjoyed all of them. They are the ideal of what a genre short story is: a small, self-contained exploration of an interesting idea or concept.Product details

Little Lost Things eBook Mark Hill Reviews
An excellent collection of short stories. Not a bad one in the bunch. I purchased this ebook based on the writer's work for Cracked.com and was not disappointed. Intelligent, entertaining, at times humorous, and always well written. A wide range of subject matter, too.
One star taken off because a couple stories seemed to peter out without an adequate finale, like a joke winding its way toward a punch line that never quite arrived.
Little Lost Things is an enjoyable, well written collection of short stories.
A worthwhile purchase.
A very entertaining read that keeps you ready for the next story. Very diverse set of stories. It might surprise anyone whose previous experience with Hill's work consists of his work at Cracked.com, since there are few if any jokes about genitals, but that's one of the things that make the stories so fun.
This book is absolutely fantastic. I bought it on a whim after reading one of his Cracked articles - absolutely no regrets. Any one of these could be expanded into a bigger story, and I'd buy that too.
As Mark Hill promised, each story is unique. Different genres, ideas, thrills... But there is one thing in common - all those narratives are really good.
Each story in this collection offered something different and unique there was comedy, horror, suspense, etc. As he mentioned in the foreword, there were some editing errors, but given that we were pre-warned about this, they were easy to overlook. Many thanks to the author for sharing these stories with us. I hope to read more from him in the future.
These stories are turns funny, unsettling, whimsical and kind of frightening. They are also somehow very easy to read, in that I sometimes wasn't sure if I felt like reading and then was quickly pulled in after starting a story.
